Yes, composite veneers have always stood as a more affordable alternative to porcelain veneers, but as Dr. Sigal found—even after taking course after course in free-hand composite veneer training—the results were often unpredictable and the process could be extremely time-consuming. The Uveneer template system takes all the guesswork out of the process and creates beautiful, predictable, symmetrical and proportional composite veneers every time. The process is also less invasive than porcelain veneers, as it does not require the extensive drilling, prepping, and removal of the patient's dentition that traditional veneers require.

Creating composite veneers using the Uveneer template system simply involves selecting the Uveneer template that matches the tooth size and shape and any composite the clinician prefers. The dentist then places the composite onto the tooth, and presses the template over the composite. Then the dentist cleans off the excess, cures the composite, and voilà—a composite veneer with beautiful, symmetrical contour and finish is born!
Uveneer can also be used to create a shade guide from your composites so patients can approve the final shade before the procedure as well.
