Other sealants I’ve used have been a lot more viscous, so I’d stick some of it on the occlusal, and then I’d have to take an explorer and drag it to where it needed to be. With the Inspiral Brush tip, you can get the sealant down in there really nicely and it will just flow where you want it to. That is, he inserts, with the occasional exception.    “If I get a patient that is a big ice chewer or a heavy grinder, I can’t count on any product sticking in there, but if there were one that would do the best job, it would probably be UltraSeal XT plus sealant.”    He adds, “But with most kids, with UltraSeal XT plus sealant, if you can get their teeth nice and dry, I’ve seen it last for years and years. That decreases my costs. However, it is more technique-sensitive in that you don’t desiccate the tooth before applying it. You have to keep them moist, but not wet.
